Ilford Results

We certainly did some back with a bang this past Saturday in our first show of the year, as the Dropkixx wrestlers put on an amazing show in front of a packed house at the Ilford F.C. Cricklefield Stadium.

Our first match of the evening should have been an inter-gender tag-team match, pitting Jezabeth & Eddie "The Vet" Cornell against Brookii and her partner; however it would seem that Brookii’s partner left her to fend for herself, as she started the match facing both Jezabeth and Cornell alone. However word soon got down to the locker room that Brookii was fighting alone, and back-up came in the form of Callum "Bullseye" Chuck and the returning Sgt. Kevin Anthony! Needless to say Cornell got his much deserved comeuppance as Jezabeth refused to tag in, leaving Bullseye and Anthony to take turns using Cornell as a punch bag before Brookii pinned him for the win!

Our next match saw crowd favourites Mountain Stew and Tiger Kid facing off in a very even match up. Both men took turns controlling the other, each having a counter for the other’s hold, Tiger Kid was obviously the quicker of the two, and his quickness would be a factor in him having the advantage over Stew, however it would also be his downfall as a failed high-flying attack would give Mountain Stew the much needed advantage, which would allow Stew to hit his signature Mount Verstewvious move on Tiger Kid for the three count - after the match we saw a display of sportsmanship that is missing from most contests as Mountain Stew and Tiger Kid shook hands.

The next contest pitted "Lazer" Lagden against the recently returned Robert Rose. Ever since Rose came back from America (where he trained extensively with the Wild Samoan’s) he’s had a chip on his shoulder, some would say more of an arrogance than before, and has set his sights on Bradley Albright, claiming that Albright is only at the top of the heavyweight division because Rose wasn’t there for Albright to challenge. Since returning to action within the Dropkixx ring, Rose had either had opponents that were smaller than him or had a lot less experience, however that all changed with his opponent "Lazer" Lagden who matched Rose for both his size and experience. The match was as expected very even, with both men taking turns controlling each other, a clash of heads saw Rose take advantage of a fallen Lagden, going as far as to get a public warning from the referee, Lagden would eventually make a comeback and hit his signature spear, but it wouldn’t be enough to keep the egotistical Rose down - the two would the trade hard hitting moves before Rose eventually hit Lagden with his signature Double R Spinebuster for the win.

Our next match was a tag-team contest which pitted tag veterans and crowd favourites the Flying Scotsmen against the fairly newer team of the Punjabi Princes. The Scotsmen were clearly outmatched against the bigger Punjabi Princes, but a pre-match verbal attack from the newcomers soon fired Gary and Stephen Docherty up as they would use their quick style to get the early advantage, which would soon be cut off by the cheating ways of the Punjabi Princes. The Princes would take control of the match, isolating Stephen from his partner and began hitting impactful moves, but it wouldn’t be long before the Princes would make a mistake, giving Stephen the opportunity to capitalise on it and tag out to Gary, who would make a brilliant comeback for his team, eventually allowing both him and Stephen perfectly execute their caber-toss like finishing move for the win.

Our main event of the evening saw Bradley Albright take on the silent but deadly Devin Byrne. Robert Rose would come out before the match officially began, claiming he was out to scout his opponent for next Saturday’s show, but Rose chose to sat next to Albright’s sister, which would prove to be a distraction as Albright was caught with an early roll-up pin from Byrne for the first fall in a two out of three falls match. With Albright now down one to nothing it seemed to light a fire as the two wrestled a very mat-based yet powerful match, in which Albright would eventually even the score with a roll-up of his own to Byrne. Another Rose distraction would allow Byrne to attack the previously injured knee of Albright. Byrne came very close to tapping out, but would eventually make a heroic comeback in which he managed to hit his signature move, the Figure Head, for the third and final fall.

<b>Quick Results:</b>

Brookii, Callum "Bullseye" Chuck & Sgt. Kevin Anthony def. Jezabeth & Eddie "The Vet" Cornell

Mountain Stew def. Tiger Kid

Jacob Vosper def. Liam James

Robert Rose def. "Lazer" Lagden

Flying Scotsmen def. Punjabi Princes

Bradley Albright def. Devin Byrne

First Show Of 2012 This Saturday In Ilford

<center><img src="http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b133/Dropkixx/Dropkixx%20Posters/IlfordSmall-1.jpg"></center>

Good things come to those who wait, that’s why this coming Saturday Dropkixx will put on its first show of 2012, as well as our seventh show at the Ilford F.C. Cricklefield Stadium!

We’ve got four big matches already announced, those being "Lazer" Lagden squaring off against Robert Rose. With Rose recently targeting Bradley Albright and his IWC Heavyweight championship, claiming that he doesn’t have any credible competition, it will be time to put up or shut up for Rose as he faces a very formidable opponent in Lagden.

Speaking of Bradley Albright, he will be facing the man of few words Devin Byrne. Albright is no doubt a fighting champion and a very competent wrestler, you’ve got to imagine at sooner or later Albright will be standing across the ring from Rose, but will Albright’s match with Byrne have an effect on his eventual showdown with Rose?

There will also be two big tag matches, with the multi-time IWC Tag-Team champions The Flying Scotsmen facing the newer team of The Punjabi Princes. The Scotsmen are no doubt veterans of the tag-team scene, but how will they fare when they outmatched in size by the Princes?

And finally making their returns to the Dropkixx ring in tag-team action will be "Gentlemen" Jon Ritchie and Yorghos Christopoulos! Ritchie will be partnered with Jezabeth while Yorghos will be teaming with Brooki. All four wrestlers are no stranger to each other, with both teams having lengthy feuds with the other; it will be interesting to see how this one will play out.

Be sure to catch this show as it’s sure to kick out 2012 show schedule off with a big bang! The address of the venue is the Ilford F.C. Cricklefield Stadium, 486 High Road Ilford, Essex, IG1 1UE, tickets are priced at Just £7 for adults and £5 for children and O.A.P.’s, doors open at 7:00 P.M. with a 7:30 P.M. start! See you there!

Adam Pearce Training Seminar Report

In association with NWA-UK Hammerlock this past Sunday saw yet another great guest trainer at the Dropkixx Wrestling Academy at the Bucket O'Blood Fight Club.

The session started with the one and only John Owens taking the students through a great warm up before Adam Pearce began his guest training session.

For those that are unaware, "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce is the current NWA World Heavyweight champion, currently in his fourth reign, and is one of the top rated American wrestlers not currently contracted to a major promotion.

Pearce began his session by individually introducing himself to each student, before reiterating the importance of the how wrestlers should carry themselves, facial expressions and also talking about his opinions on become a successful professional wrestler.

Adam Pearce then had the students pair up and start wrestling on the mat, this time emphasising facial expressions while wrestling.

After a short break the training resumed, this time with the pairs wrestling in the ring with Adam Pearce giving guidance when needed, telling the students how to make the most out of every move.

Adam Pearce gave each pair of students his thoughts on their in-ring wrestling, there was nothing major that needed to be changed or worked on, Adam Pearce only gave a few students pointers on how to do things differently in order to maximise the effect of the moves and holds.

Adam Pearce was also very impressed with the Bucket O'Blood Fight Club saying it was exactly what a real wrestling gym should look like, saying that it was like New Japan Pro Wrestling's training dojo.

Overall a yet another very successful guest training session that was thoroughly enjoyed by all the students. Remember to keep checking back here for more updates on special training sessions and any guest trainers that may be taking classes at the Bucket O'Blood Fight Club in the future.

Match&#039;s Confirmed For Ilford

The main event will be a tag Challenge match.
As IWC Tag team champions 'HXL' defend their title against arch rival's 'THE FLYING SCOTSMEN'.

Twin's GARY and STEVEN DOCHERTY have waited over six month's to get this match against the 'HXL' team of BRAD BECK and LASER LAGDEN, knowing the Scottish Dropkixx mainstays could create IWC tag team history if they earn victory here, it would be the forth time as the holder's of the Tag Belts.

The Tag team Championship match has taken an expected Tag clash between the ALLBRIGHT brother's RYAN & BRADLEY who were expected to face JOSH FAULKNER and a guest partner chosen by FAULKNER himself.

Much to FAULKNERS disappointment, he has however agreed to a single's clash against the current IWC HEAVYWEIGHT Champion BRADLEY ALLBRIGHT, with ALLBRIGHT already declining the offer of a bigger purse to allow FAULKNER a crack at his title.
Never the less this is expected to be a big match and could establish FAULKNER as a creditable title challenger in the future.

Returning WILD SAMOAN star 'GENTLEMAN' DAVE ROSE, fresh from a massive match against former WORLD NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION 'STEVE CARINO' and now in place as one of DROPKIXX elite Coach's, has taken a big dislike toward's one of his own student's JOHNNY 'JAZZ' GILL.
In a much talked about incident at our Wrestling university campus, DAVE was actually caught on camera losing the plot,
and shouting down GILL in front of a heaving Gym a fortnight ago.
ROSE then clashed verbally with head coach and former 3 tiime british Heavyweight champion JON 'THE DON' RITCHIE over the incident.
This lead to ROSE demanding GILL face him in the ring at the ILFORD venue.
RITCHIE at first would not allow this until JOHNNY GILL himself stepped forward amd gallently accepted DAVE ROSE'S challenge.
We know ROSE has vast experience over GILL, but GILL has said " I have no choice, I must step up to the plate and take this man on". JOHNNY GILL went on to say "no man should have to suffer any kind of verbal abuse in front of their peer's as I did, and I take the challenge in the name of the world's underdog's".

More contest's are to be added through the week right here at dropkixx.com.

Including the like's of.....HUGHMUNGUS....RYAN ALLBRIGHT.......LUCY CLAYDEN and former BRITISH HEAVTWEIGHT CHAMPION and IWC LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION YORGHOS. ++++plus more

+++watch this space+++++

Ilford V is on Saturday 24th September 2011. Tickets are available on the door at a price of £7.00 with concessionary rates for children and seniors. Address is:

Dropkixx Returns To Ilford on 27th August 2011

We are pleased to announce our return to Ilford's Cricklefield Stadium on Saturday 27th August 2011. The first match, which was announced at the last show is confirmed below.

NO HOLDS BARRED TAG TEAM MATCH
Bradley and Ryan Albright vs. Josh Faulkner and ???

Our main event, announced at our last show will see one of the fastest ascending wrestlers on the UK scene, Josh Faulkner challenging two of the most established wrestlers in Dropkixx. The only problem? Faulkner doesn't have a partner for this encounter.

(Barry) Ryan Albright is a two time and current IWC Light Heavyweight Champion, and has won the prestigious 'Wrestler Of the Year' award at the Dropkixx awards. He has had a successful run with a north London based wrestling promotion, but it is at Dropkixx where he has made his name with fantastic rivalries against the likes of Yorghos, Brad Beck to name a few.

He's partner, and brother, Bradley Albright is our current IWC Heavyweight Champion and despite a recent loss to 'Fabulous' Lucas Jackson, has been on a tremendous roll as of late, coming off the back of a successful 2010.

Both men are known for their great technical wrestling skills and so it is safe to say that Faulkner will need to ensure that he's partner, who is still remaining anonymous, is up to scratch inside the squared circle.

This is certainly one of the most exciting matches in Dropkixx history with lots of possible candidates to be Faulkner's partner. Could it be Yorghos, still bitter about Ryan Albright ducking his latest challenges in his quest to win back the IWC Light Heavyweight Championship? Could it be head trainer Jon Ritchie, who has been known to have his disagreements with both Albrights in the past? Could it be 'Fabulous' Lucas Jackson, still keen to prove to everyone that the recent victory over Bradley Albright (which Bradley still is bitter about) was not a fluke?

More matches will be announced soon so check Dropkixx.com for the news as it breaks.

This Saturday - 9th July - is our annual freestyle wrestling competition where many medals and trophies will up for grabs for the winners and runners-up of the respective weight divisions.

This has now become a traditional warm up for our IWC shoot-fest tournament - the date of which will be announced shortly.

Last year gave us our best freestyle competition so far. It’s a great day and this competition will be filmed for DVD!

Unlike our IWC shoot-fest tournament this competition will be open to anyone who wishes to enter, so as always it will have the added edge with outside wrestlers coming in.

The weigh-ins begin at 10.30 A.M. and competition begins at 12.30 P.M. A token entry fee may be asked for to help cover some of the costs.

Good luck and lets show the world who we are!

Crazy Weekend; Kurt Angle, Ilford IV and Sunday Training Report

We had a great weekend this past weekend with a very special guest at the Bucket Of Blood fight club on Saturday along with a very successful fourth bill at Ilford and a fun day at training on Sunday.

Things kicked off in usual showbiz fare with 1996 Olympic gold medallist and former four-time WWE Champion Kurt Angle visiting the gym on Saturday afternoon to discuss his career and love for amateur wrestling.
Our bill at the Ilford F.C. Cricklefield Stadium - our fourth - was a great success with the best attendance we've ever had at the venue.

The first match of the evening saw "Million Dollar Muscle" Matt Ball challenge "Animal Boy" Kevin Hanley for his IWC Junior Championship. A fun match between the two kids here which saw Matt Ball disqualified after six minutes for refusing to let go of a deadly single leg boston crab.

Our second contest of the evening saw two best friends collide as "The Worlds Most Pissed Off Man" Dan Eels took on "Fabulous" Lucas Jackson. This was the first bout of the evening to be contested under Lord Mount Evans' Rules - Two Out of Three Falls. Despite some vicious offence from Dan Eels, Jackson was able to win the contest with the YMCA Elbow drop.

Up next was our girls contest between Colleen Masters and newcomer Brooki. A nice girls bout here which was won in style by Brooki. It is safe to say that Jezabeth will be keeping a close eye on both these girls over the coming months.

Devin Byrne took on Dropkixx newcomer "Mountain Stew" in a match the crowd seemed to really get involved in. The rookie showed Devin that he is certainly not one to overlook, scoring a surprise pin in the first round. However Devin showed why he is one of Dropkixx's top guys by winning two straight falls with first a deadly looking submission, then pinning Stew after a deadly Michinoku Driver.

The show also saw the return to the Dropkixx ring of Jon "The Don" Ritchie who despite his (and Eddie "The Vet" Cornell's) best efforts came up short, losing via DQ against "Muscles" Mansfield. Jon showed why he is truly the top draw in British wrestling today as the crowd booed at his every step.

Out next would be our Lightweight competitors; "Wild" Will Harper taking on JJ Taylor. Again fighting over three rounds, these two pushed themselves to their limits to entertain the crowd. After earning a fall each the third and final fall ended in a draw as both men were unable to answer a ten count from the referee. It is safe to say that this rivalry may be far from over.

And this brings us nicely to our main event between undefeated IWC Light Heavyweight Champion Ryan Albright (accompanied by his brother Bradley Albright) and 15 year old sensation Josh Faulkner. Faulkner looked like a true main eventer here and was only complimented by being in the ring with one of our most senior wrestlers. Great Main event here, with a Ryan publicly mocking Yorghos who couldn't make the match due to other commitments.

Despite an impressive performance from Faulkner, unfortunately Bradley Albright couldn't keep himself out if the match and assisted his brother to a victory. However this wouldn't be over as Faulkner got back up and challenged The Albright Brothers to a tag team match at our next show at Ilford on 27th August 2011.

Thanks wholeheartedly to everyone who made it, we look forward to our next bill there on Saturday 27th August (Summer Bank Holiday weekend).

However the action didn't stop there as the next morning we were back at our East Tilbury base for an action packed training session led by IWC Light Heavyweight Champion Ryan Albright as he took the class through the warm up and amateur throws in the morning before working in the ring showing pro sequences in the afternoon.

Was a truly great weekend and we thank everyone who attended, helped out and enjoyed it. We will be back in Ilford in August, but training takes place every Sunday from 10:30. And don't forget if you pay £10.00 on a Sunday that you can train all week for free.

Fourth Match Announced For Ilford IV

Another day, and another match added to our Ilford bill this Saturday.

This one will be between two close friends who began training together almost seven years ago, but up until now have never met each other in the squared circle. We are of course talking about "The World's Most Pissed Off Man" Dan Eels taking on "Fabulous" Lucas Jackson.

"Fabulous" Lucas Jackson has had a career of doing all sorts. Starting off as an MC, becoming the voice of Dropkixx for almost five years as well as managing the most successful stable in Dropkixx history - the Action Faction. In this Action Faction he went on to manage the man who would become a three time British Heavyweight Champion, Jon Ritchie as well as top wrestlers such as Danny Garnell, Ashley Cray and Brad Beck; who Jackson held the Dropkixx Tag titles with.

In 2010 he began his in ring career properly, and after years of being on the wrong side of the fans has become one of the most beloved members of the roster - winning the Best Character award in 2010. With recent wins over the IWC Heavyweight Champion "Honest" Ernest Sterling and Josh Faulkner under his belt he is on a bit of a roll, and will hope that this continues at Ilford IV this Saturday.

However he faces one of the most accomplished wrestlers in Dropkixx - Dan Eels. Dan Eels has found success both as a tag team wrestler as well as a singles wrestler. With victories over the likes of Cell, Jon Ritchie and Josh Faulkner it is easy to see that his permanently annoyed and angry mind seems to work inside the ring. He is a vicious brawler with a forearm that is able to break tree trunks in half. His accomplishments in 2010 enabled him to win the prestigious Wrestler Of the Year award.

So while it is safe to say that these two are friends, this is set to be one hell of a contest as two completely different styles meet for the very first time.

So join us at Ilford this Saturday, tickets cost £7.00 for adults and £5.00 for children and seniors. The address is Ilford F.C. Cricklefield Stadium, 486 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1UE.

Third Match Announced For Ilford IV

We are pleased to confirm a third match for our upcoming bill at Ilford on 4th June.

Barry Ryan will take on Josh Faulkner in a Lord Mount Evans rules match.

Barry Ryan is one of the most respected and accoladed athletes at Dropkixx. He is a two time IWC Light Heavyweight Champion and has been one of the most looked unto wrestlers in the country. He has found success outside the Dropkixx ring as he has been featured on LDN Wrestling and has begun a shoot fighting career with his first match currently scheduled for August this year.

Josh Faulkner, well anyone whose watched any major wrestling show over the past six months will know who he is. He has truly found success on the UK circuit as the 15 year old teenage sensation. He was voted one of our two 2010 Wrestlers Of the Year, primarily for his continued efforts representing the Droplixx style on the UK circuit. He is a success at Dropkixx also as he is the current IWC Lightweight Champion, as well as the IWC Heavyweight Jinior Champion.

This will be an interesting contest for certain as Faulkner will look to be a clapping and roaring success against the much more technically sound Ryan.

So join us for this interesting night which also includes Devine Byrne vs. Stewart Shephard and Jon Ritchie vs. Callum Chuck which were announced earlier in the week. Tickets cost £7.00 for adults and £5.00 for children and seniors. The address is Ilford Cricklefield Stadium 486 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1UE.

Second Match Announced For Ilford IV

Another day, and another match announced for our upcoming Ilford show on 4th June. We are pleased to confirm the much rumoured addition of Devine Byrne vs. Stewart Shephard.

This will be an interesting one as Devine has gone from strength to strength in 2010 becoming one of the most veteraned performers on the Dropkixx roster. He was awarded the prestigious Match Of the Year and Wrestler Of the Year awards last year, along with Best Body for his impressive physique. He was also NWA-Hammerlock UK Heavyweight Champion for most part of last year.

Stewart Shephard on the other hand is one of the most promising new members of our roster having really come along during the past 12 months. This contest is certainly going to be the biggest match of his career so far. Will definitely be an interesting encounter.

This match, just like every match on the show will be contested under Lord Mount Evans Rules, showing that Dropkixx is at the top if it's game when it comes to producing the best wrestlers in the country.

Main event announced for Ilford IV

The main event for our forthcoming fourth show at ilford's Cricklefield Stadium has been announced. Former three time British Heavyweight Champion Jon Ritchie will face current IWC Middleweight Champion Callum Chuck in a Lord Mount Evans Rules match, contested over six 3 minute rounds.

This is a huge contest, as Jon Ritchie, who will be accompanied no doubt by Eddie Cornell, is one of the biggest names on the current UK circuit and as head trainer and founder of Dropkixx Wrestling school, is one of the most sought after trainers in the country.

Chuck on the other hand is one of the fastest ascending Dropkixx stars of recent times. He was our 2009 Best Newcomer as well as our 2010 Best Face. He won the Middleweight Championship in his second year with us, and has quickly become one of our most successful shoot wrestling stars.

This match is certainly student versus teacher, and one which will be talked about for months to come I am sure.

Tickets for the show are available at the door on the night. £7 for adults and £5 for children and seniors. Address is: Ilford Cricklefield Stadium, 486 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1UE. Show starts at 19:30 on Saturday 4th June.

&#039;Shoot Sunday&#039; - Last Sunday&#039;s Training Report

This past Sunday saw another fantastic session as Jon Ritchie led the group through an intensified warm up session and then put the students through their paces with a sequence drill.

The students went on to show these sequences in the ring later in the day.

Sgt. Kevin Anthony, 2009 Rumble Champion and 2011 Iron Man of Dropkixx simultaneously taught a group inside the cage everything there is to know about Kickboxing.

Later in the day however we were treated to one scheduled, and two impromptu shoot contests. Dropkixx is the only wrestling promotion in the country that prides itself on having REAL champions.

The first was for the IWC Light Junior Championship, currently being held by the (undefeated) Kevin Hanley, of Gravesend. He's opponent was top contender Liam James. The match was contested under amateur rules due to the age of the competitors - meaning that no submission holds were allowed. The first round was very close, with Kevin leading by just one point, but in round two he managed to pin Liam's shoulders down to the mat, and that was enough to retain his championship.

Our next impromptu contest saw newcomer Luke Nunnery challenge Callum "Bullseye" Chuck for his number one contendership for the IWC Lightheavyweight Championship. The newcomer showed a lot of promise and did really well against shoot veteran Chuck, even managing to at one point to get on top and get control of Chuck for a few moments. However Callum showed his experience and just why he is the IWC Middleweight Champion as he managed to submit Nunnery with a grovite.

And finally we saw the newly made Lightweight PJ challenge John Taylor for his number one contendership to Josh Faulkners IWC Lightweight Championship. A really competitive match this one was, as neither man wanted to lose. Taylor had a nice submission locked into PJ at one point but PJ was able to escape and then lock in a vicious looking facebar to win the match and number one contendership. PJ will now be eager to challenge a reluctant Faulkner for the championship.

Next week sees Jon Ritchie again leading the class as it is the last training session before Ilford IV. Remember with £10 paid on a Sunday you can train any day during the week at no extra cost. You can come down use our weight sets, train with Sgt. Kevin Anthony in the cage, shoot fight on our Olympic sized wrestling mat, or use our pro ring and camera facilities to record matches and promos.

What a fantastic occasion it was a couple of Saturdays ago when we held our second (of many) Academy shows at the Bucket Of Blood. The focus on this show was the much awaited tag tournament. It featured 16 teams all vying for the gold. And the winners are very surprising. For it was not established tag team veterans The Royal (Flying) Scotsmen, nor the equally as established No Gimmicks Needed who would get the belts. Infact both teams had early exits in the competition (even when the Scotsmen re-entered to replace Team Beautiful).

New tag team on the block HxL (former Lightheavyweight Champion Lazer Lagden and Heartbreaker Brad Beck to you and I) were victorious, impressing everyone in the crowd and won the belts.

Thank you to everyone for coming, and we hope to see you again in the near future.

IWC Shootfest 7 - This Saturday!

The following is from Dropkixx head trainer Jon Ritchie:

This Saturday (September 11th) is the biggest day in the Dropkixx calender as the IWC Shootfest championship takes place for the seventh consecutive year.

These championship tournaments have been a highlight of the Dropkixx year since the very first tournament winner took the throne to reign supreme over Europe’s catch as catch can wrestlers.

The now top pro-entertainment wrestler Marty Scurll was our very first champion when, in a thrilling and brave performance, he won the final match of his weight division against twenty two year old Stuart Knight. Marty was only just reaching his seventeenth birthday and merely a year after a serious bike accident that left him with a severely injured leg. It was and still is one of my proudest moments at Dropkixx and made wrestling history as the first Real pro champion in over a hundred years.

On that very same day a new heavyweight king was born, as Stu Sanders (Now WWE’s Wade Barrett) tore through all the other heavyweights in stunning fashion to claim his crown and begin the journey that is now set to become legend.

Other competitors that day included Nick Aldis (now TNA’s Brutus Magnus). Also beginning his journey that day was Dave Jackson - now Dave Rose - who is currently headlining for the Wild Samoan wrestling group in the USA and is one of their head coaches.

That was only our first comp and it sent Dropkixx to the highest level of recognition where wrestling coaching is concerned. I am proud to have taught all these men and many others since.

Now we enter a new era for Dropkixx with our first Shootfest at the Bucket O' Blood Fight Club, and look forward with great anticipation to what the future holds for our current batch of high-class fighters.

If you are not an entrant please come and give your support and bring your friends as Dropkixx once again takes its place in the forefront of British and European wrestling and continues to lead the way!

The address of the Bucket O’ Blood Fight Club is: The Bucket O' Blood Fight Club, Unit 91A Thames Industrial Park, Princess Margaret Road, East Tilbury, Essex, RM18 8RH

Tomorrow Dropkixx rolls into New Eltham for our debut show at the STC Sports Club!

We already have two huge matches lined up. The first stemming from our show this past Monday at the Farmhouse Pub in Mottingham where the debuting German mammoth Thomas Riesig defeated his opponent and then put out the challenge for any man in England to face him at the STC Sports Club. The challenge was the accepted by none other than 'Honest' Ernest Sterling! These two heavyweights will do battle, and not only will their own pride be on the line but so will the country they represent!

Our second big match sees great upcoming female wrestler Rhia O’Riley takes on the Dropkixx hellcat Jezabeth in what will no doubt be a very physical match as Jezabeth looks to prove to Rhia O’Riley that she is the top female wrestler in Dropkixx!

More matches have yet to be announced, keep checking back here for more updates – but you can expect the top Dropkixx stars such as Callum 'Bullseye' Chuck, Barry Ryan, 'Jamaican Sensation' Cell, The Grim Reaper, 'World’s Most Pissed Off Man’ Dan Eels and many more to be making an appearance!

This coming bank holiday Monday Dropkixx invades the Farmhouse Pub in Mottingham, South London for another day of great wrestling action - and it’s free!

After a great show on the May bank holiday last year The Farmhouse Pub have asked us to return this year, and what a great line-up we have planned!

In a heavyweight clash, the always highly ranked wrestler in the heavyweight division "Honest" Ernest Sterling will do battle with the silent assassin known as Devin Byrne!

In a catch-weight bout Callum "Bullseye" Chuck will be taking on young high-flyer Will Harper - this match should great as we know that recently Chuck has been training heavily in submission wrestling - but before he can put any of that do the test he’s got to catch the high-flying Harper first!

We also have Belfast, Northern Ireland’s own Rhia O’Riley taking on the arrogant Polly Peppers from the high-class Knightsbridge, Central London.

And also for the first time ever we have our very own multi-time Dropkixx Tag-Team champions The Royal Scotsmen taking on two tough fighters from Belfast, Northern Ireland (And also relatives of Rhia O’Riley!) Chris and Ryan O’Riley. It’ll be more than just a win on the line in the match as the natives of Ireland and Scotland do battle!

The show will also feature the likes of The Grim Reaper, Barry Ryan, "Jamaican Sensation" Cell, "World’s Most Pissed Off Man" Dan Eels and many more - so keep checking back here as more matches will be announced soon!

R.I.P. Andre “Sledgehammer” Baker

Over the weekend we heard the sad news that former NWA:UK Hammerlock head trainer Andre “Sledgehammer” Baker was found dead at his home.<br><br>

Andre will be remembered as the man that helped so many of the wrestlers currently on the British scene get their start. Wrestlers such as New Japan's Prince Devitt, current TNA star Douglas Williams, former NWA champion Gary Steele, former WWE diva Katie-Lea Burchill / Nikita, and many, many others.<br><br>

The influence Andre had on British wrestling is unforgettable, much like the man himself, and the thoughts and prayers from everyone at Dropkixx go out to Andre's family at this sad time - Andre is survived by his son Daniel.<br><br>

Rest In Peace Andre “Sledgehammer” Baker.

Final Match Announced For Ilford

No Gimmicks Needed are one of the most tenured teams on the roster holding victories over teams such as Team Beautiful and Hard Love to name a few, but as of this writing No Gimmicks Needed are the only tag-team on the Dropkixx roster. With two teams out due to injury (The Royal Scotsmen & The Unpredictables), No Gimmicks Needed decided to issue an open challenge - since they couldn’t have a tag-team match with an established team they issued a challenge for any two wrestlers on the Dropkixx roster to face them at Ilford.

So the final card is:

Gary Docherty vs. Lucas Jackson

No Gimmicks Needed Open Challenge

Devin Byrne vs. Yorghos

Callum "Bullseye" Chuck vs. "Lazer" Lagden

The Grim Reaper vs. "Honest" Ernest Sterling

Join us at Ilford on Saturday 10th April to find out the result of this match as well as the many others that will also be taking place. The other matches can be accessed via the events page on the site. Tickets cost £7 and are available on the door. Doors open at 7.30PM and the show starts at 8PM.

Fourth Match Announced For Ilford

<b>IWC Light-Heavyweight Champion “Lazer” Lagden vs. Callum “Bullseye” Chuck</b>

Our next contest will see IWC Light-Heavyweight Champion “Lazer” Lagden battling the 2009 Rookie of the Year Callum Chuck.

Lagden is a Dropkixx veteran having been with us from the very start almost and has enjoyed many successes over the years including victories over Jon Ritchie, Barry Ryan and Brad Beck to name but a few. However the pinnacle moment of his career was definitely 30th January 2010 when he was able to finally win the prestigious IWC Light-Heavyweight title infront of his own crowd and earned Match of the Night from his peers backstage also. Lagden is all about the competition and loves nothing more than to outwrestle his opponent and that’s exactly what he is going to look to do against young Callum Chuck, Lagden will be looking for Callum to make that rookie mistake and capitalize on it.

However Callum “Bullseye” Chuck prides himself on trying his best to never have that “rookie mistake” happen to him and after the success he enjoyed in 2009 I doubt many would question him. He is looking forward to add a big victory to his record and a win here would really help kick-start 2010 for him. He has impressed in the past against Ernest Sterling and even Devin Byrne. So could another victory be on the way for young Chuck?

Join us at Ilford on Saturday 10th April to find out the result of this match as well as the many others that will also be taking place. The other matches can be accessed via the events page on the site. Tickets cost £7 and are available on the door. Doors open at 7.30PM and the show starts at 8PM.

Third Match Announced For Ilford

<b>Devin Byrne vs. Yorghos</b>

Another fantastic bout for Ilford will see the much-loathed Yorghos going up against the equally as loathed; Devin Byrne in what will probably be nothing more than a sophisticated bar brawl as both men have made it clear in recent weeks that they do not like each other very much.

In one corner hails Yorghos, former British Heavyweight Champion and former two-time IWC Light-Heavyweight Champion. Infact it was here at Ilford back at January that he lost the title to Lagden in our amazing Main Event. This is his first match back after that loss and he is said to be looking for some redemption. Yorghos has wrestled all over the country since joining Dropkixx and has wrestled most famously for LDN and now IPW. Starting out as a favourite with the fans last summer he turned bitter and started to feel some hatred for the Dropkixx fans and has since then become one of the most hated members of the Dropkixx roster. However it will take more than just an arrogant personality to defeat the man-mountain that will be standing in the opposite corner...

Because Yorghos’ opponent will be The Ivory Tower’s very own Devin Byrne. Devin has been much feared because his hard-hitting style in the ring usually means he is always in control of his opponent at all times. He is known for having a mean streak and being able to go off the rails at any given moment, but in recent times has shown a much softer side that the fans can actually appreciate. Will be interesting to see if after some time away from the ring to assess his reaction from our previous show, to see if Devin chooses to become more popular with the fans with the hopes to winning this match against Yorghos? Whatever he chooses one thing is for sure however: Devin will always be in control.

So who will win this encounter, is hard to say but we all know that it is yet another unmissable match added to an already impressive Ilford card.

Join us at Ilford on Saturday 10th April to find out the result of this match as well as the many others that will also be taking place. The other matches can be accessed via the events page on the site. Tickets cost £7 and are available on the door. Doors open at 7.30PM and the show starts at 8PM.

Second Match Announced For Ilford

<b>IWC Heavyweight Championship Match
To Be Contested In 6x 3 Minute Rounds
The Grim Reaper vs. “Honest” Ernest Sterling</b>

Our featured bout of the evening will see the two top Heavyweight’s battle one on one in a traditional World of Sport rules match. This match type is unique to Dropkixx and when a match is contested under World of Sport rules it makes for a very enthralling and engaging experience for the fan.

So in one corner we have Walthamstow’s most honest resident, Ernest Sterling. Sterling won the right to challenge The Grim Reaper by winning a number one contenders tournament back in February and so now gets his title match. Sterling prides himself on always following rules given to him by the referee but usually this means that he bends them ever so slightly in order to gain an advantage. Sterling has quickly become one of the most dominant performers on the Dropkixx roster with victories over “Lazer” Lagden, Callum Chuck and others in recent months. But he is yet to win “the big one” which for him would be to end The Grim Reapers lengthy undefeated streak and title reign?

And in the other corner we have perhaps the most feared individual in UK wrestling today, The Grim Reaper. With an undefeated streak that will go in the record books as well as sickening deadly manoeuvres, including The Grimson Blade in his arsenal he is one scary individual. From the moment his music hits everyone in Ilford, along with his opponent will be in a permanent state of fear. Some say that the Grim Reaper usually wins a match before he even gets into the ring because of this. However in recent months we have seen him pushed to his limits by both Sgt. Kevin Anthony and Devin Byrne, both of whom were almost able to defeat Grim.

This is the first time that these two are meeting under the respected rules of World of Sport so anything can happen. Remember folks it will take two pin falls, two submissions or a knockout to end this one. And I don’t think it will be that easy to pin either of these men’s shoulders to the mat, especially when the gold is on the line.

Join us at Ilford on Saturday 10th April to find out the result of this match as well as the many others that will also be taking place. The other matches can be accessed via the events page on the site. Tickets cost £7 and are available on the door. Doors open at 7.30PM and the show starts at 8PM.

First Match For Ilford Announced

Before the formalities we would like to take this time to wish everyone a very Happy Easter.

<b>Gary Docherty vs. Lucas Jackson</b>

The first match to be announced for our second Ilford bill is the much anticipated in-ring return of former Dropkixx Commissioner Lucas Jackson. Now for those of you who are familiar with the Lucas Jackson of the past then prepare to change your opinions completely 360 as this former rule breaker is now fighting on the right side of the rulebook. Hailing from the “Campest Street in the United Kingdom” – Manchester’s famous Canal Street – he prepares to bring something completely unique to the ring when he enters it for the first time in over 3 years.

However he will certainly have his work cut out for him as his opponent is one of the most decorated performers on the Dropkixx roster. Having won the Dropkixx Tag Team Championships on three separate occasions along with his brother Stephen, Gary Docherty is one of the most veteran competitors that Dropkixx has to offer. However this is not to say that all of these victories that Gary has picked up have been completely honest as in recent months Gary has shown that he will pretty much do anything to pick up the win. And with Gary hailing from The Royal Kingdom Of Fife in Scotland it is safe to say that he is worlds apart from Jackson and his shirt lifting ways. One thing’s for sure though, it is safe to say that this is quickly becoming one of the most talked about matches of the year thus far.

Join us at Ilford on Saturday 10th April to find out the result of this match as well as the many others that will also be taking place. The other matches can be accessed via the events page on the site. Tickets cost £7 and are available on the door. Doors open at 7.30PM and the show starts at 8PM.

St. Andrews Results

What a fantastic night was to be had last night at our first bill at St. Andrews.
At the beginning of the night the crowd were informed that there would be a change to the scheduled 4-man tournament as “Gentlemen” Jon Ritchie would be pulling out of the tournament due to an injury. He would be replaced by Ponsenby P. Pratt and that he would be competing in our first bout of the evening.

However Ponsenby was unable to defeat Callum “Bullseye” Chuck as he was quickly pinned to allow Callum to advance to the tournament finals and get one step closer to a shot at the IWC Heavyweight Championship.

The second bout featured new IWC Light-Heavyweight Champion Lazer Lagden taking on ”Honest” Earnest Sterling in our second first round tournament match. The action got started straight away with Lazer attacking Sterling before the bell even rang with that big silver belt and when it got in the ring Lazer continued the assault. Sterling would make a comeback however and just when the match was getting some steam going Lazer attacked Sterling once again right infront of Senior Official Chris Hatch’s well-trained eyes. This gave Sterling a win by disqualification and an advance to the tournament finals later in the night.

Up next came “The World’s Most Pissed Off Man” Dan Eels taking on the incredible “Jamaican Sensation” Cell in a catchweight bout. A hard series of strikes from Dan Eels grounded Cell for the first part of the bout but Cell showed us why he is the Sensation soon enough with his highflying offence. However Dan Eels was truly, well, pissed off by this and quickly pinned Cell.

Our fourth bout saw one half of the most accomplished tag team in Dropkixx history, Gary Docherty of the Royal Scotsmen issuing an open challenge to anyone in the back at the moment. Out came local competitor Josh Faulkner who accepted the challenge. Docherty wrongly overlooked Faulkner as he was unable to get a win as quickly as he perhaps thought he could do. The young rookie Faulkner was impressible and came very close to defeating our accomplished star. However Docherty would prove that experience is more important in a match like this and was able to get a cheap pinfall over Faulkner. However Faulkner impressed “The People’s Commissioner” Lucas Jackson and may very well become part of the roster in the coming months.

Up next came our tournament finals of the night against “Honest” Earnest Sterling and Callum “Bullseye” Chuck. To say that the crowd was pro-Bullseye would be an understatement as the fans in attendance were clearly behind him and not the “Honest” one from the get-go. However Earnest would show that his self-proclaimed “honest” approach to a bout would be successful as he was able to control Chuck from the early going. Even stooping as low as to throw Chuck to the outside and brawl right infront of Chuck’s family. However Chuck would make a comeback and hit a series of high impact moves however Earnest was resilient in going down easily. He too would win via pinfall and not in the fairest of ways either. Chuck would contest this with Senior Official Chris Hatch but Earnest would leave with the victory and a future title contest with The Grim Reaper.

Speaking of the devil he was in our featured bout of the evening. However due to an injury sustained in their brawl at last month’s Ilford bill Sgt. Kevin Anthony was unable to compete and so top ranked Heavyweight Devin Byrne was named as his replacement. For this bout, for the IWC Heavyweight Championship, Commissioner Jackson was the official and he had a very hands on approach as even though the bout was No Holds Barred, before the match he had made it clear that he didn’t want it to turn too vicious. Bryne was able to get a lot of offense against The Reaper and even a couple of near falls. However after some interference from Banshee as well as help from a cane used brutally on the outside right infront of the fans The Grim Reaper was able to pin Byrne after a deadly Grimson Blade. However the action didn’t stop when the bell rang as The Grim Reaper was not happy with the punishment he had already dealt Byrne and continued the assault after the match choking him with the cane. Commissioner Jackson tried to stop the attack and then in a moment never before seen clotheslined the IWC Heavyweight Champion and stood up to the Reaper and his devious ways. However this proved to be a mistake as The Grim Reaper delivered a deadly Grimson Blade to the Commissioner. After being helped to the back Jackson made no comment on the actions of The Reaper but we are sure that our Commissioner will not let this assault slip under the radar.

Thank you all for coming and hopefully later on in the week we will have an announcement regarding our date of return later in the Spring. However don’t forget we have action in 3 weeks time in Lenham on Sunday 21st March and the card will be announce over the next fortnight. And following that we have our second bill at Ilford on 10th April. Keep your eyes on the Dropkixx website for all information on these next two bills and more.

Thank you's also to Jon Ritchie, Tony McMillan, Dan Eels, our fantastic ring announcer Tebraiz Shahzad and Senior Official Chris Hatch as well as all the staff at St. Andrews' for making it a night to remember. O, and Happy 20th Birthday to Charlotte Eels.

Another Bout Added To The St. Andrews&#039; Bill On Sunday

Another fantastic bout has been added to our bill in St. James' Park this coming Sunday. The Royal Scotsmen - the most decorated tag-team in Dropkixx history - were originally going to compete in a tag-team match but due to an injury Stephen Docherty has had to pull out and so Gary Docherty has decided to issue an open challenge which he is aptly calling a "Royal Scotsmen Challenge". It will be interesting to see who answers this challenge and if Gary can adapt as well to singles wrestling as he has to tag-team wrestling.

Also "The People's Commissioner" Lucas Jackson has confirmed that this Sundays featured bout which is a No Holds Barred contest officiated by the commissioner himself will be contested for the IWC Heavyweight championship. With Jackson added as officiator as well as it being contested under No Holds Barred rules could this be the end of The Grim Reaper's dominating reign?

The show will feature the above two bouts plus a grudge match between Dan Eels and Cell and also a four-man tournament to determine who will be the new number one contender for The Grim Reaper's IWC Heavyweight championship. Tickets are available on the door from 7:OO P.M. and are priced at £7.00 (Or £4.00 for members of the St. Andrew's Club).

Dropkixx&#039;s Own Stu Sanders On WWE NXT

We are pleased to announce that one of Dropkixx's very own, Stu Sanders - currently going by the name of Wade Barrett - has made his WWE debut as part of their NXT show. He is featured on this week's broadcast in the main event. We are really proud of Stu for all that he has acheived both at Dropkixx and after it. It's proof that it really can happen for anyone as long as they apply themselves.

However big things are happening on this side of the pond also as this weekend sees training as usual in our new gym situated in East Tilbury, which boasts an Olympic sized mat area, our brand new 24-foot ring as well as weight machines and much, much more. Training starts from 10:30 and will be taken by former two-time LDN British Heavyweight Champion, Jon Ritchie.

And on Sunday evening join us in St. James' Park for our bill at St. Andrew's Youth club which is features a number one contenders tournament for The Grim Reaper's Heavyweight belt as well as the champion himself taking on Sgt. Kevin Anthony in a No Holds Barred match which we have learned in the week shall be officiated by none other than Dropkixx Commissioner Lucas Jackson. Tickets are £7 (£4 for members of the club) and are available on the door.

<b>No Holds Barred Match
IWC Heavyweight Champion
The Grim Reaper</b>
(The deepest, darkest corner of your worst nightmare)
vs.
<b>Sgt. Kevin Anthony</b>
(Eltham, South London)

When looking for an opponent for The Grim Reaper to face for the first show of 2010 we looked no further than Sgt. Kevin Anthony. Kevin Anthony is one of the few wrestlers on the Dropkixx roster that can withstand The Grim Reaper’s offence and also fight back against him for a decent part of the match.
As was expected there was no fancy reversals or holds in the match, both wrestlers headed into the match prepared for a fight and that’s what the Ilford crowd saw. However, as the match spilled to the outside the referee was unable to bring the wrestlers back into the ring, so the match was declared a draw.
Seeing that the two wrestlers still wanted to continue the fight "The People’s Commissioner" Lucas Jackson announced that they would continue, but not at Ilford as he then announced that they would face each other at Westminster in a No Holds Barred match.
With their first match ending in utter chaos their No Holds Barred match will be yet another brutal encounter, but will Sgt. Kevin Anthony be able to defeat the seemingly unbeatable Grim Reaper, or will the Reaper once again prove why he is the IWC Heavyweight champion?

<b>Grudge Match
"The World’s Most Pissed Off Man" Dan Eels</b>
(New Cross, South London)
vs.
<b>"The Jamaican Sensation" Cell</b>
(Kingston, Jamaica)

At our second event in Lenham, Kent in September a match was announced between good friends Dan Eels and Cell. On paper the match seemed like it would be very good, as the styles of the two wrestlers complimented each other well, Dan Eels with his mainly technical wrestling and Cell with his unorthodox mix of technical, high impact and ariel styles.
However as soon as the bell rung a everyone in the venue that night saw a very different side of Dan Eels as he unleashed a brutal attack on Cell. Showing no regard for his opponents wellbeing Eels took every opportunity to attack Cell, be it on the mat or standing with various kicks, punches, elbows, knees and anything else that would do damage to his opponent. Cell eventually won the match, showcasing his incredible agility securing the three count with a standing Shooting Star Press.
These two former friends turned enemies have not had any interaction with each other since their last match in Lenham, but you can be sure that their match in Westminster will be just as go
od as the first!

<b>#1 Contenders Tournament</b>
The show will also feature a one night only knock-out tournament to determine a number one contender for The Grim Reaper’s IWC Heavyweight championship.
The tournament will feature two young up and coming heavyweights Callum "Bullseye" Chuck & "Honest" Ernest Sterling, the current IWC Light-Heavyweight champion "Lazer" Lagden who is determine to prove himself as a fighting champion by also hopefully challenging for the IWC Heavyweight championship and lastly it will also feature the man that is favourite to win the tournament, the former two time LDN British Heavyweight champion Jon "The Don" Ritchie.

(CARD SUBJECT TO CHANGE)</center>

llford Results

A fantastic bill last night at Ilford FC Cricklefield Stadium thanks to everyone who attended, helped kick off 2010 for Dropkixx in style.

Our opening bout saw a rematch between <b>Devin Byrne</b> and one half of the Dropkixx Tag Team Champions <b>Cell</b> really fight it out, exciting the crowd with a high impact opener. Cell was victorious proving that perhaps speed is more important than power delivering a deadly neckbreaker and inverted moonsault (which he himself calls the Reggae Reggae splash) pinning Byrnes shoulders to the mat for a three count. It may be safe to say however that this rivalry isn't over as Byrne was far from happy after the bout.

Our second contest of the evening saw a returning <b>Barry Ryan</b> (a former IWC Light Heavyweight Champion) take on <b>'Honest' Earnest Sterling</b> in a straight up wrestling contest. It was back and forth throughout, however Ryan would lock in a deadly single leg Boston crab and the Honest one had no choice but to tap. He too had grievances after his bout and informed the crowd that he had solid intentions of facing <b>The Grim Reaper</b> for the IWC Heavyweight Championship in due course.

Out next came our IWC Light Heavyweight Champion, <b>Yorghos</b> (in his second reign and he is a former LDN British Heavyweight Champion with victories over <b>Kendo Nagasaki</b> and <b>Jon Ritchie</b> to name but a few) and he very clearly informed the Ilford crowd that he had no intention of wrestling tonight, despite being half of the featured bout. Out came <b>Lazer Lagden</b>, who has been waiting for this opportunity to come up and he made it clear that he wanted his much deserved Championship bout and wasn't going to leave until he did. In step <b>Commissioner Lucas Jackson</b>, who made sure the fans – and not Yorghos- got what they want and announced that the Main Event would still be taking place. An unhappy and bitter Yorghos sneakily attacked Lagden from behind with the Championship belt ensuring that the people of Ilford would not be supporting him in the bout yet to come.

Up next saw a real brawl of a match between aforementioned IWC Heavyweight Champion <b>The Grim Reaper</b> and <b>Sgt. Kevin Anthony</b>. It was a non-title match but from the way these two were clobbering at each other it did seem for a second that the title may be on the line. They brawled both in and outside of the ring and repeatedly did not respond to referee <b>Rob Brazier</b>'s demands that they re-enter the ring and so it all ended in chaos as whilst fighting outside the ring the referee and Commissioner Jackson saw no other option but to end this as a double disqualification. Jackson would then naively enter the ring and informed Grim and Sgt. Kevin that they would get another chance to face each other but that it would not be until <b>Sunday 28th February</b> at our St. James' Park bill and that because these two could not maintain there rivalry within the rules of a standard match that Commissioner Jackson was authorising a <b>No Holds Barred contest</b> between the two for the said date. They both did not like this and so sent Commissioner Jackson head-over-heels with a double clothesline. What will Jackson do as his revenge, find out at St. James' on the 28th of February!

Our fourth bout was a contest between one half the most successful tag teams in Dropkixx history – certainly the most accoladed- <b>Gary Docherty</b>, of the <b>Royal Scotsmen</b> taking on one half of <b>No Gimmicks Needed 'Tough' Tony Kemp</b>. A back and forth bout which saw Tony pin Gary after seven minutes.

And then came our featured bout of the evening, and the Main Event, the contest for the IWC Light Heavyweight Championship between champion <b>Yorghos</b> (who was accompanied by <b>Junior Champion Kevin</b>) and challenger <b>Lazer Lagden</b> (accompanied by top Junior contender <b>Matt Ball</b>). This match was held under World of Sport rules of six 3 minute rounds, with a 30 second rest period between the rounds. Yorghos got first blood pinning Lagden in the second round. However Lagden would fight back with a pinfall on Yorghos in round 4. And despite Yorghos' blatant cheating on several occasions – use of a chair, hair pulling, eye-raking- Lagden was able to hit his patented manoeuvre and earn a second pinfall in Round 7 and after twenty minutes of ring action was crowned the new IWC Light Heavyweight Champion to end the show. And in a fantastic moment in Dropkixx history he was joined by his peers in the ring to celebrate an incredible victory, as well as inform Yorghos (after Matt Ball had cheekily thrown him over the top rope) that he would have to earn his rematch for the belt and that it would not be given to him. An ideology that Commissioner Jackson also shared.

After such a fantastic show you will be pleased to know that a follow up show has been booked for <b>Saturday 10th April</b>, so add that date to your diary.

So thanks once again to everyone who came and we hope to see you all in four weeks time at St. Andrew's Community Centre, Alec Wizard House, 12 Old Pye Street, Westminster, London, SW1P 2DG (nearest station is St. James' Park served by the District and Circle Lines check before you travel at www.tfl.gov.uk.

Ilford Show This Saturday!

<center><b>[ THE INFORMATION ]</b>

<b>~ Date ~</b>
Saturday the 30th of January, 2009

<b>~ Address ~</b>
Ilford F.C. Cricklefield Stadium
486 High Road
Ilford
Essex
IG1 1UE

<b>Master Of Ceremonies:</b> 'The People's Commissioner' Lucas Jackson
<b>Doors Open:</b> 6:30 P.M.
<b>Show Starts:</b> 7:00 P.M.
<b>Ticket Price:</b> £7.00

<b>[ THE MATCHES ]</b>
<b>IWC Heavyweight Champion
The Grim Reaper</b>
(The deepest, darkest corner of your worst nightmare)
vs.
<b>Sgt. Kevin Anthony</b>
(Eltham, South London)

90% of The Grim Reaper’s matches usually have the same format. He enters the match as the IWC Heavyweight champion, destorys his opponent with relative ease then leaves, still the IWC Heavyweight champion. However it is highly doubtful that The Grim Reaper’s first match of 2010 wil be that easy as he faces one of the toughest men currently on the Dropkixx roster: Sgt. Kevin Anthony.
Sgt. Kevin Anthony has recently been training in Muay Thai kickboxing and various other martial arts, so he is now even more dangerous that before - but can he defeat the reigning IWC Heavyweight champion as he clashes with The Grim Reaper?

<b>IWC Light-Heavyweight Championship
Yorghos Christopoulos</b> (Champion)
(Athens, Greece)
vs.
<b>"Lazer" Lagden</b> (Challenger)
(Romford, Essex)

Ever since winning the prestigious IWC Light-Heavyweight championship from Barry Ryan in February 2009 the usually respectful and considerate Yorghos completely changed the way he thinks of the fans and fellow wrestlers. "Lazer" Lagden is also another wrestler who has stopped caring about what the fans want and has started to concentrate fully on his wrestling, and by doing so has earned himself a number of victories over the likes of The Sensei and "Tough" Tony Kemp. Yorghos spent the last part of 2009 having various matched with no-nonsense fighter Sgt. Kevin Anthony, unfortunately Anthony was unable to knock some sense into Yorghos, but hopefully "Lazer" Lagden will, and in the process win the IWC Light-Heavyweight championship.

<b>"Tough" Tony Kemp</b>
(Tilbury, Essex)
vs.
<b>Gary Docherty</b>
(Fife, Scotland)

These two wrestlers have faced each other numerious times over the years, but it has always been in a tag-team match with their respective partners Dan Eels and Stephen Docherty. It will be intresting to see how Gary Docherty adapts to singles competition, as Tony has more experience in singles matches than Gary. A win for either man will no doubt give their team a step in the direction of the Dropkixx tag-team championships.

<b>"Honest" Ernest Sterling</b>
(Walthamstow, East London)
vs.
<b>Barry Ryan</b>
(Catford, South London)

Mat technician Barry Ryan makes his long awaited full time return to Dropkixx rings after a near seven-month sabbatical. Ryan spent his time away from the ring focusing on other fighting styles such as boxing, MMA grappling, Thai boxing and freestyle wrestling. Will Sterling’s “honesty” gain him the victory here or will Ryan’s new found skills secure him victory?

<b>"The Jamaican Sensation" Cell</b>
(Kingston, Jamaica)
vs.
<b>Devin Byrne</b>
(The Ivory Tower)

After winning the Dropkixx Tag-Team championships at the end of 2009 "The Jamaican Sensation" Cell looks to start off 2010 with a victory over the heinous Devin Byrne. Not much is known about the relative newcomer to the Dropkixx rings Devin Byrne, but what we do know is that he is a force to be reckoned with. Since winning his debut match (Also against Cell) Devin has left a trail of broken bodies behind him as he goes from strength to strength. Will Byrne be able to kick-start 2010 with victory over one half of the Dropkixx Tag-Team champions, or will "The Jamaican Sensation" continue his winning ways?

Isle Of Dogs Results

A fantastic night was to be had this past Saturday at the Isle Of Dogs for our debut show at the Docklands Community Centre.

Our opening bout saw Bullseye taking on Devin Byrne. Despite getting a tremendous amount of offence in he was defeated by the more experienced Byrne though perhaps not in the nicest of fashions as Byrne would not only cheat to a victory but spit in the face of Bullseye after the match.

Secondly saw Sgt. Kevin Anthony victorious over a rather aggressive 'Tough' Tony. The match was well received by the fans in attendance.

Thirdly saw an action-packed tag team match pitting the reuniting Unpredictables AJ and IWC Middleweight and Welterweight Champion Cell taking on the 3-time and reigning Dropkixx Tag Team Champions, the Royal Scotsmen. The Scotsmen who have held the belts for over nine months were up to their usual tricks from the get go trying their best to steal another victory. However after a phenomenal double team manoevure from AJ and Cell they were pinned and we are pleased to announce that the Scottish hold of the Dropkixx tag belts has finally come to an end and we have new champions in The Unpredictables, holding the belts for the first time in their careers.

Next up saw a singles bout between hometown boy and NWA UK Heavyweight Champion Kassius taking on Lazer Lagden. Originally scheduled to be a non-title contest Commissioner Jackson made it a title match at Lagden's request. The action was back and forth and sprawled onto the outside however Lagden was unsuccessful as Kassius pinned him after a devastating Tombstone Piledriver that was felt all around the venue.

And finally our Main Event for the IWC Heavyweight Championship saw champion The Grim Reaper really get pushed to his limits by one half of Seek N Destroy Tony McMillan . Big McMillan really did well against the Reaper much to the Reapers unamusement. Grim decided to end things early by getting himself disqualified after hitting both McMillan and Commissioner Jackson with his title belt in a disgraceful manner. It is safe to say that after this assault on the Commissioner and a loss to McMillan by DQ, this matter is not over.

We hope to be back at the Settlement early next year where this shall continue.

Final Card Announced For Isle Of Dogs

The final card for this Saturday's debut outing at the Isle Of Dogs is as follows.

In our main event the IWC European Heavyweight champion The Grim Reaper will be wrestling one of his biggest opponents to date as he faces former NWA Hammerlock wrestler, Kurupt.

Also in our second main event of the evening "The City Boy" Kassius clashes with the IWC European Light-Heavyweight champion "Lazer" Lagden in a non-title match. One has got to believe though that if Kassius can impress in a non-title contest that he will certainly earn himself a title match in the near future.

We will also see what should be an interesting encounter between "Tough" Tony and Sgt. Kevin Anthony in what some are saying could be one of the most physical matches of the night.

And our Dropkixx Tag-Team champions The Royal Scotsmen have a new set of challengers for their championships as we shall see the official reformation of The Unpredictables. Can they end this seemingly endless third run of the Scotsmen, or will the Scotsmen once again retain?

Also Dropkixx newcomer Bullseye faces Devin Byrne.
