Brentwood on Sunday!

This Sunday afternoon we return to Brentwood Theatre for Brentwood XVIII: Survival. I know we say this a lot, but this may very well be our biggest show EVER! Just a small reminder here then that there is no training on Sunday, Purfleet is closed. All students are expected at the show however.

The main event is a 4 on 4 Survivor Series elimination match as Team ReBellion take on Team Essex. As we do this write up all four spots on Team ReBellion are filled. Team captain Jack Toreno will be joined by team mates Branden Croft and Crowley as well as the outspoken Chaos champion, Jordan Saaed. However Team Essex is a man down following Arin Jones being found unconscious and ruled unable to compete just days before the match. As of now it’s Taylor Essex teaming with High Energy. Can he find a 4th man willing to join him? We sure hope so, as these matches mean that we could see all sorts of odds being displayed. It could be 2 on 1, 3 on 1 or even 4 on 1!

Another huge match is our Falls Count Anywhere match between the 25 stone monster that is Crusher Curtis as he takes on Ian Frost. The winner of this match will be rewarded with a future shot at the Chaos title. So there’s a lot to play for! This one is going to be hard hitting, heavy action as these two heavyweights will look to destroy one another!

We have not one, but TWO championship matches taking place. Firstly the Tag Team titles will finally be on the line as Party Peace return to take on the Flying Scotsmen. Party Peace have been absent as they are in a dispute with Dropkixx management. However Commissioner Vinny Daniels has ordered that they must defend or forfeit the belts this Sunday in Brentwood! Let’s hope they abide, as we are looking forward to this match. Which if the Scotsmen win, they’ll break their own record and become 6 time Tag Team champions !

The other title on the line is the Showcase title as ‘Heavyweight’ Lewis Barrett takes on Danny Rowe. These two met previously at Bulphan where Rowe was victorious. Can lightning strike twice ? Romford horn Rowe recently made a lot of strong comments toward Barrett, and Barrett seems unstoppable on the Brentwood stage. Can the rookie do it or will Barrett prevail?

And last, but not least, Mark Hendry has out his career on the line as he battles Tammy once more. At Westcliff Hendry lost, after making some very cocky comments. And he has vowed that he will QUIT Dropkixx for good should he lose again. It seems Tammy has Hendry’s number, but even she will know not to take hendry lightly !

Tickets are available online at or by calling 01277 200 305, as well as on the door on the day. Doors open at 14:30 with the first bell being at 15:00. Tickets cost £15 VIP (Front row) / £12 adults / £8 children & concessions / £35 family.
